TP-Link Tapo P110: Wi-Fi smart plug with energy monitoring via app

Want to know how much power the computer in your study, the TV on standby or the kettle really draws? The Tapo P110 measures the consumption of the connected device and displays the readings in the Tapo app. That way you can find out which devices are worth unplugging completely more often.

On top of that, the P110 is a fully fledged smart plug. You can switch it via the app while you're out, set schedules or start a countdown, for example so the charger switches off after two hours. Away Mode switches lamps on and off at varying times so your home looks lived in.

The plug connects directly to your Wi-Fi, so you don't need an extra bridge. With Alexa or Google Assistant, you can control it by voice too. Rated at 16 A, it's designed for many household appliances, and thanks to its compact design it usually doesn't block the neighbouring socket on a power strip.

Worth knowing: the P110 only works on the 2.4 GHz band, so your router needs to support it. TP-Link advises against running appliances such as air conditioners or fridges through it. If you need several, the P110 is also available in multipacks.
