About Deal-Luchs
A small, independent project from Saarland, Germany – for everyone who would rather not spend hours comparing spec sheets for tech and home appliances.
Who is behind it?
Deal-Luchs is run by Jasper Kremers from Saarlouis, Germany. No corporation, no publisher, no twenty-person newsroom – just one person who has been into tech, smart home and good home appliances for years and gets asked by friends all the time: “Which router should I get?” or “Is an air purifier worth it?”
The lynx (“Luchs” in German) in the name is no accident: lynxes are known for their sharp eyesight. That is the goal – take a close look before anything goes on the site.

- Our picks: popular tech, electronics and home products, explained briefly and honestly – including a “worth knowing” note when there is a catch.
- Deals: time-limited tips that disappear automatically once they expire.
- Guides on the blog: the basics without jargon, e.g. on Wi-Fi, SSDs or power-hungry devices.
How we pick products
We feature products that many people buy and that we would recommend to a friend. We only show products with reliable manufacturer data and images; technical data sheets come from the Open Icecat product database. Manufacturers cannot buy a placement.
To be upfront: we don’t lab-test every device ourselves. Our assessments are based on manufacturer information, data sheets and experience. AI helps us draft the texts – but every text is read and checked before it is published.
How Deal-Luchs is funded
Deal-Luchs is free, with no sign-up, no tracking cookies and no banner ads. The site is funded through affiliate links to Amazon: if you buy through a link marked with *, we earn a small commission. The price stays the same for you. More in our affiliate disclosure.
