2. Overview
Deal-Luchs is a free information site about tech, electronics and home products. You can use it without an account and without providing personal data. We use no tracking, analytics or advertising cookies and embed no third-party services that receive data from you when a page loads. Fonts and product images are hosted on our own server.
3. Hosting and server log files
The website runs on Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (Cloudflare Workers). When you open the site, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data sent by your browser: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer, browser type and operating system. This data is needed to deliver the site and protect it from attacks, and it is stored only briefly.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the secure and stable operation of the website. A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; EU standard contractual clauses also apply.
4. Cookies and local storage
We set no cookies and store nothing in your browser. A consent banner is therefore not required.
5. Click counting
When you click a button to Amazon, we increase a counter for that product so we can show popular products. We store only the number of clicks per product – no IP address, no identifier and no user profile. No personal data is created.
6. Amazon Associates Program
We are a participant in the Amazon Associates Program of Amazon Europe Core S.à r.l. (38 avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg), an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.
Links to Amazon contain our partner ID. No data is sent to Amazon when you open our site. Only when you click a link do you leave our site and go to Amazon. Amazon may set cookies there and process data to recognise that the visit came from us and to credit us with a commission. Amazon is responsible for this processing. Details are in Amazon’s privacy notice.
In general, third parties, including Amazon and other advertisers, may serve content and advertisements, collect information directly from visitors and place or recognise cookies on visitors’ browsers. This does not happen on deal-luchs.de itself; it applies to those providers’ sites once you visit them. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time and adjust advertising cookie preferences directly at Amazon via its cookie preferences.
7. Contact by email
If you email us, we process your details (email address, name, message content) to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, or (b) if your request relates to a contract. We delete the data once the request has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
8. SSL/TLS encryption
The connection to this site is encrypted via HTTPS, indicated by the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). Simply contact the email address above.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Independent Data Protection Centre of Saarland (Unabhängiges Datenschutzzentrum Saarland) in Saarbrücken.

We update this privacy policy when the website or the legal situation changes. The version published here applies.
