WMF Kult X Mix & Go: compact smoothie blender with a 0.6-litre drinking bottle

The WMF Kult X Mix & Go is a small blender for a single serving. The idea is simple: put fruit, vegetables, milk or yoghurt straight into the 0.6-litre bottle, screw on the blade, turn it upside down and blend on the motor base. Then swap the blade for the drinking lid and take your smoothie with you.

The 300 W motor drives a four-blade stainless steel blade. WMF says it also handles smoothies and shakes with ice. According to the maker, the bottle is made of Tritan, a shatterproof plastic, and is sold separately as a spare. The base is clad in Cromargan stainless steel with black plastic accents.

There is just one speed, with no programmes or pulse function. That keeps it simple and compact enough for a small kitchen or an office.

Worth knowing: 0.6 litres is enough for one person; for a family a bigger blender makes more sense. Blend hard ingredients such as frozen fruit or nuts with plenty of liquid, and don't expect it to make smooth nut butters or crush large amounts of ice. There is no pulse function. One data sheet lists the jar as glass; WMF itself says it is Tritan plastic.
