Emsa Travel Mug Classic 0.36 L: leakproof insulated mug with 360° drinking opening

Emsa's Travel Mug Classic is an insulated mug for the commute, the car or your backpack. It has a double-walled stainless steel body with a silicone sleeve for a secure grip. At 360 ml it holds roughly one large coffee. According to Emsa, hot drinks stay hot for up to four hours and cold drinks cool for up to eight.

You open it with a press of a button: the Quick Press closure frees the drinking opening, and the 360° lid lets you sip from any side without turning the mug. To fill it, you unscrew the whole lid. Emsa describes the mug as leakproof, so it should stay sealed even lying in a bag.

Cleaning is easy because the lid comes apart into two pieces and everything can go in the dishwasher. The slim shape, 8.2 cm across, fits standard car cup holders according to the maker. The mug is BPA-free.

Worth knowing: four hours of heat retention is on the short side; for a long day a vacuum flask is the better choice. At 0.36 litres it is meant for about one cup; Emsa also makes the range in a larger size. Take the lid apart and clean it regularly so odours don't linger.
