Kinetic Sand natural brown 907 g: mouldable play sand in a resealable bag

Kinetic Sand is an indoor play sand that behaves differently from ordinary sand. It flows through your fingers but sticks to itself, so you can squeeze it, slice it and press it into moulds. According to Spin Master it's based on natural sand and never dries out.

This bag contains 907 g in natural brown, the colour closest to real beach sand. It's intended as a refill for Kinetic Sand playsets, such as the construction sets that use natural-coloured sand. But it works just as well on its own, for example in a shallow tray with a few moulds from the kitchen drawer. The coloured versions of the same bag can be mixed with the brown sand.

The bag is resealable, so the sand can be stored away neatly after play. Spin Master recommends it for ages 3 and up and lists it as gluten-free and casein-free in its product data. Because the sand sticks to itself, stray crumbs can usually be picked up again with a larger clump.

Worth knowing: according to the manufacturer the sand works best at normal indoor humidity. In very dry, heated air it gets crumblier; Spin Master says a few drops of water will refresh it. Moulds, tools and a play tray are not included. It's harder to remove from carpets and upholstery than from smooth floors. Not suitable for children under 3.
