The HyperX Cloud III S Wireless is the wireless version in the Cloud III family, here in black and red. Unlike the standard Cloud III, you don't need a cable: you connect it via a 2.4 GHz USB dongle or Bluetooth and can switch between the two modes.
Its biggest strength is stamina. HyperX quotes up to 120 hours in 2.4 GHz mode and up to 200 hours via Bluetooth. A full charge takes around five hours according to the manufacturer. Angled 53 mm drivers take care of the sound.
The detachable 10 mm microphone has a mesh filter and an LED that shows you when it's muted. There are also built-in internal microphones. The frame is made of aluminium and the cushions of memory foam. At around 340 grams, it's heavier than the wired version. In the box, you'll find the dongle, a USB-C to USB-A adapter and a charging cable. On selected OMEN laptops, Instant Pair even lets you connect without the dongle.
Worth knowing: HyperX doesn't include Xbox consoles in its compatibility list. The NGENUITY software is only available for Windows. The black and red colourway is one of several versions of this model.
